Sanchez Cano S.A. is a family owned candy manufacturer from Spain. We produce an extensive product line of licorice, jellies, marshmallow, hard candy, chewing gum and fruit filled bubble gum.
Founded in 1953 by D. Manuel Snchez Cano in Molina de Segura, Murcia (Spain), the activity of the company was originally focused to the manufacturing of bubble gum. On the basis of that, the company quickly increased its size and activities, incorporating successively marshmallows, gummies, licorice and hard boiled candies.
Sanchez Cano is today the absolute leader in Spain as for the manufacturing of licorice, gummies, marshmallow, hard boiled candies and bubble gum, with a global turnover of 146 million EUR.
50% of the turnover is achieved in the overseas markets. Sanchez Cano S.A. has a presence in 80 countries all around the world under both Fini brand and private label. 3/4 of these sales to European Union USA and Canada.
Since 2002, a subsidiary company operates in Brazil: Sanchez Cano Ltda counting today with about 250 workers and a turnover of about 70 million Rs (about 31 million EUR). A range of products is manufactured there for Brazilian domestic market, and surrounding countries.
Starting January 2012 a new subsidiary company operates in the United Kingdom: Fini Sweets UK Ltd. Fini Sweets U.K. Ltd. Is now the official supplier of all Fini branded sugar confectionery products in the UK. Fini Sweets U.K. shall be responsible for the sales & distribution of its own brands going forward.
Despite the importance of the company in a worldwide context in the confectionery sector, Snchez Cano S.A, is owned 100% by the Sanchez Cano family without any foreign participation.
